Foam Engineers are the UK’s leading foam converter, supplying a range of industries from the medical sector to the military. Click Routes have been working with Foam Engineers to ‘up the ante’ and develop a website that differentiates them from the ‘me too’ style of their competitors.

Our brief was to redesign the website to:

• Demonstrate that Foam Engineers were not just a manufacturer but were a ‘solution provider’
• Convey that they were able to undertake all aspects of projects from the design and development through to manufacturing
• Demonstrate their commitment to customer service during and following every project
• Work as a lead generation tool to support the role of the new marketing manager
• Ensure that the new website was search engine friendly

Strategy

• Get to know Foam Engineers and their business
• Research and identify keywords/phrases and undertake a competitor benchmarking exercise
• Define an ‘on site’ content strategy & technology platform
• Map/wire frame the new site structure & produce concepts
• Produce compliant templates and technology solutions
• Implement necessary redirects, test, launch and monitor

Results

The new website has received compliments from customers, suppliers and even the competition! The search engine friendly structure means it has been thoroughly indexed by the search engines and Foam Engineers are now supporting the website with a search engine optimisation campaign.
